Come celebrate Fall with a dual workshop dedicated to the Autumn harvest season! Two dates at two of our favorite Wicker Park staples: Antique Taco on October 1st and Tapster on October 14th.
Erica Lubetsky will be teaching us how to dye farmer's market tote bags with folding and resist techniques, using all-natural vegetable dyes from red and yellow onion skins (provided by Antique Taco and Tapster!) and will enlighten us about sustainability in design along the way.
While your tote bags are soaking up the dye, I'll lead a watercolor workshop featuring Fall produce from the farmer's market as the star. We'll go over some watercolor techniques and basics then settle in to paint a still life that you'll want to frame for your kitchen walls.
